Láréttar jarðskorpuhreyfingar í Öskju 1993-1998. Svartar örvar sýna mæliár færslu, hvítar færslulíkan. Ljóst er hvernig jarðskorpan dregst inn að miðju Öskju. Þessar breytingar má skýra sem afleiðingu af þrýstifalli í kvikukerfinu undir eldstöðinni, mest í grunnstæðu kvikuhólfi á um þriggja kílómetra dýpi.
